Congratulations to 2011 WNFR Competitors
Congratulations to the members of the Panhandle Slim/Rock and Roll Cowgirl/Rock and Roll Cowboy Pro Rodeo Team who will be competing in the 2011 WFNR in Las Vegas. Competitors are Todd Suhn (Steer Wrestling), Jesse Kruse (Saddle Bronc Riding), Lindsay Sears (Barrel Racing), Carlee Pierce (Barrel Racing), Sue Smith (Barrel Racing), and Britany Fleck (Barrel Racing).

World Champion Barrel Racer Lindsay Sears Joins Panhandle Rock and Roll ProRodeo Team

Panhandle Slim, the Fort Worth, Texas based western wear manufacturer, is excited to announce the signing of World Champion Barrel Racer Lindsay Sears to promote the brand in the Rodeo and Western Lifestyle community.
Known for her chic clothing style, Lindsay Sears reads Vogue and Glamour magazines, wears low-rise jeans and waits eagerly for "Fashion Week" in New York and London every year. "I have finally found a brand of clothing that has a great fit and at the same time a cutting edge look," said Lindsay Sears. "Nothing fits me like my Rock and Roll Cowgirl Jeans . . . except maybe Martha."
"I am very excited to be a part of the Panhandle Slim team and look forward to working with everyone at Panhandle Slim."
Lindsay, who hails from Nanton, Alberta, Canada, travels the rodeo trail in both the United States and Canada each year. She has dominated the barrel racing on her great mare, Martha — the 2008 AQHA/WPRA horse of the year, winning every major rodeo including the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, NV to become a World Champion Barrel Racer.
Becoming a part of the Panhandle Rock and Roll ProRodeo Team, Lindsay joins rodeo great Tuff Hedeman, Professional Bull Rider Pistol Robinson, World Champion Saddle Bronc Rider Jesse Kruse, 14 time NFR Steer Wrestling qualifier Todd Suhn, PRCA Cowboys JJ Elshere and Joe Gunderson, and fellow WPRA barrel racers Britany Fleck, Jordon Peterson Briggs, and Carlee Pierce.

14-Time NFR Qualifier & PRCA Steer Wrestler Joins Panhandle Slim Rodeo Team

March 2, 2011 -- Panhandle Slim, the Fort Worth, Texas-based western wear manufacturer, is pleased to announce the signing of PRCA Steer Wrestler & 14 Time NFR qualifier Todd Suhn to promote the brand in the Rodeo and Western Lifestyle community.

The owners are down to earth people who genuinely care about who you are. I also like the generosity Panhandle Slim has shown my family and me. Todd brings with him a plethora of accolades including winning or placing at every major PRCA rodeo and playoff in the country, as well as being the Texas Circuit Finals Champion, not to mention going to the National Finals Rodeo 14 times in the last 15 years. Panhandle Slim Announces Addition of Marketing & Special Events Coordinator
January 24, 2011 -- Panhandle Slim, the Fort Worth, Texas based western wear manufacturer is pleased to announce and welcome Shanda Morgan as their new Marketing & Special Events Coordinator. Shanda brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Panhandle Slim, as she has been actively involved in marketing many facets in the world of rodeo. "Having grown up as part of the 5th generation on a ranch my great-great grandfather homesteaded in 1882, I was taught that there is no replacement for hard work and dedication. I see these same values in the Westmoor Mfg Co and I am excited about being a part of such a staple in the western fashion industry." A graduate of the University of Wyoming, former Miss Rodeo ND and Miss Rodeo America 3rd Runner-up, Shanda has grown up as an avid rodeo competitor.
